Inexist - Am I Senseless? - 2004
Stygian Crypt Productions
8/10

Yaroslavl band delighted us by fresh hooky stuff. Earlier they never had been bad, though, I had listened to their demo with pleasure and now it became clear that they had a great future! It was not for nothing Stygian Crypt had mentioned them and helped with CD-issue. They play same familiar SMDM, but somehow - even while you know that it is 101% In Flames - you can't turn it off. I'd rather think that solo-guitarist Eugene 'Jackson' Artemyev should be especially praised for that. Other musicians shouldn't be blaimed either: nice drumming, diligent vocalist, praiseworthy mastering. Guys should only pay more attention to the language - illiteracy drives me out of wits. And there's still one complaint: the album is worn out to soon - after couple of weeks I put it aside of my player and I don't know when I'll put it on again. So, forget about your "pattern" boys, you've a great potential, you are almost the stars. Leave for Moscow, warm up the 'monsters', drive to fests - they will rumour about you, they will love and listen to you. I'm glad that there's one own In Flames in Russia! Finally I'd say, that the disc must be purchased by any metalhead who gives preference to Russian scene, because this band is a phenomenon. I hope only that it would be a phenomenon of European scale.

P.s. Killer tracks: "Tapiola", "Acoustic Medley Part II", "Nonsense". Author: Kinder
