28.09.2007: Burning In Hell guitarist joins Seduced by Suicide
SEDUCED BY SUICIDE, the gothic rock band formed by the vocalist and multi-instrumentist Earth, who is also member of the doom metal band Blood Tears, now has a new permanent member. Geraldo Aita, guitarist of the power metal band Burning in Hell who was already playing with Seduced by Suicide in shows, was invited by Earth to join the official line-up due to his talent and musical creativity.
The first release with Aita will be the single My Best Just For You, which will be released in a few days. Meanwhile the fans can check Aita playing live with Seduced by Suicide on the videos available in the band's MySpace page at www.myspace.com/seducedbysuicide

Eagerly awaited by their fans – not only since their most recent awesome show at this year"s Wacken Open Air –, British metal gladiators Saxon are scheduled to release their new double DVD, To Hell And Back Again, on 19 November 2007 (Germany: 16 November 2007, US: 20 November 2007). To Hell And Back Again comes in a top-quality DigiPak featuring over five hours of playing time and is a perfect example of an excellent price/performance ratio. The double DVD will be released in a 16:9 image format and 2.0 Dolby Digital & 5.1 Audio sound formats. DVD 1 consists of 15 chapters with lots of interesting glimpses of the band"s life between two albums, starting with the Lionheart studio recordings and continuing with heaps of clips from the subsequent tour (the tour start in Kiel, sequences from the Graspop and WOA 2004 festivals, shows in London, Glasgow, Paris, and Pratteln, among others, plus the grand finale in Prague), and scenes from the video shoots for "Witchfinder General" and "Beyond The Grave". Most of the 15 chapters include at least one live track, the end of DVD 1 featuring full versions of each number. Makes over two hours playing time all in all.

Sweden based death metal quartet ZONARIA announced today that they will support PAIN across Europe on their headlining tour this fall. 19.09.2007: Finnish guitarist joined Of the Archaengel
After long months OF THE ARCHAENGEL announced their new line-up and welcome a new guitarist, Timo Kaarkoski. Timo, who was born in Helsinki (Finland) now officially has the position of guitarist, which was left by Alex Rodrigues, who will be in charge of the band's vocals on live performances.
Timo comments: "For me it was a great surprise to find a band making the kind of sound which OF THE ARCHAENGEL does, and the most unexpectable thing is that I discovered it through a finnish fan of them, and when I knew that there was an opportunity to join the band I immediately got interested and now we are here to rock on!"
With this change the Of the Archaengel's line-up is now formed by:

17.09.2007: Ynis Vitrin finishes the recordings of The Sad Art of Smiling
YNIS VITRIN recently finished the recordings of their first album, entitled The Sad Art of Smiling, which is actually being mixed. Its release is planned for November.
Ynis Vitrin is a brazilian progressive metal band which released in 2005 a demo called A Dark Land, receiving great response from press around the world including maximum score in reviews made by Rock Something, All the Bangers and Whiplash.net, besides of being chosen as "Band of the Month", "Demo of the Year", "Best Keyboardist of the Year" by other magazines. In 2006 they won the contest made by the north-american magazine Revolver and SickIdiots.com, which had names like Lemmy (Motörhead), Katon (Hirax), Don Dokken (Dokken), Snake Sabo (Skid Row), and others as judges.

Russian metalcore band F.R.Y. has just released a new music video for the song "Russia! Vodka! Tetris!" from the recent Internet single "Illusions.ru". The video was shot in the spring-summer of 2007 on location in St.Petersburg, and features guest appearances by Russian rock musicians: John Lennon, Medved (Atomica, Cattle Extermination), and Andrey (Citadel, Abordazh).

The heavy/hard band DARKEST SEED is recording its debut cd in Nitro Sound Solutions studios, with the production of Roger Fingle, also known as Earth, the vocalist and multi-instrumentist of Blood Tears and Seduced by Suicide.
Darkest Seed was born in 2004 with the proposal to produce expressive, technical and melodic music, talking about deep and current themes. Its line up is formed by the vocalist Benhur Lima (Ynis Vitrin, Anaxes, Fire Symphony), the guitarist Ricardo Reolon (ex-Burning In Hell) and the drummer César de Campos (Nebulousky).

Alex comments: "Since our original vocalist left the band in the second half of 2006 we made some auditions for the position without having a satisfactory result, so, due to the request of the other members I accepted this experience, which is something totally new for me, but our objective is still to find a vocalist."
