| Swedish technical Cyber Thrash institution MESHUGGAH revealed the title of their upcoming album – the name will be "ObZen" and it´s the long awaited follow-up to "Catch Thirtythree" from 2005. The album will be released in March 2008. In other news, MESHUGGAH just confirmed a North America tour, supporting legendary Industrial Metal heroes MINISTRY (March 28 - May 08).

| San Francisco Bay Area Thrash metallers TESTAMENT have set "The Formation of Damnation" as the title of their new album, tentatively due in early 2008. The band is currently recording the drum tracks with producer Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, EXODUS) at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, California. The drums are overtaken by drumlegend Pual Bostaph (ex-SLAYER, EXODUS), as former drummer Nick Barker (ex-DIMMU BORGIR, CRADLE OF FILTH) had to step down from the job due to visa problems.

| 16.11.2007: Finnish Metal Expo 2008 |
The fourth annual Finnish Metal Expo takes place on February 15 & 16 at the Cable Factory in Helsinki, Finland. Opening hours Friday (Feb 15) 17-02 and Saturday (Feb 16) 14-02. Exhibition area closes at 23:00 both days.
Once again the FME offers insight to the current state of Finnish metal music. The previous years have proved that there is great interest towards such an event. The location of Cable Factory has been filled to the rim with metal enthusiasts, with about 5000 visitors attending each year seeking out the latest in band, media, event and merchandise offerings. Therefore, we have managed to increase the expo area to accommodate the growing interest. Again, there are more than 50 exhibitors showcasing their latest products and services in the exhibition area.

| In 2008 VADER will celebrate XXV anniversary. Previously announced tournee of the band starts on April and will last till the end of May. "XXV-Anniversary Tour" will cover all the nooks of Europe and VADER will prepare a very special set for this tour. The band will be teaming up with already announced SEPTICFLESH from Greece (back from the dead, they are working on a new studio album) and Swedish DEVIAN. | 08.11.2007: SEPTICFLESH FINALIZE NEW ALBUM |
| Followers of the dreamlord rejoice and now are finishing their work at the new album which will contain 9 songs. The Greek demons SEPTICFLESH (now in one word) will release "Communion" through Season of Mist label. Recording of "Communion" took place in the famous Studio Fredman in Sweden. The classical arrangements are composed and directed by Chris Antoniou (guitarist) and performed by the 80 part full orchestra and 32 part choir of philharmonic orchestra of Prague. As a result the music besides being brutal is also very "visual", like the soundtrack of an occult movie projected straight to your mind. Concerning the vocals, Seth is growling as a hellish beast in contrast with the melodic, yet intense and emotive vocals of Sotiris V. This album is definitely the more dark, brutal and at the same time avant-garde release of the band to date, crossing the borders of Death and Black metal. Yes, this album is not recommended to people resonating with holy ideals and bright emotions.

| 07.11.2007: Magician posts sample of "Prime Evil" |
The power metal band MAGICIAN posted on their MySpace page a sample of the song "Prime Evil" , originally released in 2002, in "Brief Magic Story" demo, which now has a new version, included in the band's forthcoming album " Tales of the Magician".
The recordings of the new album were finished a few months ago, being mixed and mastered in Germany by Arne Lakenmacher and the Gamma Ray members Dirk Schlächter and Kai Hansen. The album will be released in Brazil and Japan in the next months, as their video clip for the song "Minstrel's Domain" , which is actually being finished.
